The ballet flat has long been a classic in a woman's closet. Whether you are 10 or 65, the ballet flat is always an appropriate footwear option. Something else I love about ballet flats? You can never have too many, they never go out of style, and they are available everywhere. I have done a little research and found that every price point is available for this closet staple!
Talbots (a favorite of mine) offers the Jilly ballet flat in a multitude of colors and patterns. These are priced around $100 but these definitely go on sale! I have so many pairs of Talbots shoes because of the high quality and comfortable fit.
J. Crew offers the Classic leather ballet flats at around $125 (they also come in patent, printed, color-blocked, and metallic) , but just like Talbots, these tend to go on sale. I am loving the neon pink for spring but for a more practical shoe, opt for the nude called tawny sand. Don't spend $125 on the black pair, though, J. Crew Factory offers the same exact black pair for $55!
At $40, Gap's ballet flats are affordable. They are also real leather which is hard to find at a $40 price point.
Repetto is another brand that makes a fabulous ballet flat. They literally come in a rainbow of shades. They are comfortable and look just right. These are a little pricier at $285 but will last you several years.
Target offers the cheapest ballet flat options. At around $10-$20, you can have cute and comfortable flats. I got a pair in orange over the summer and while they are made of synthetic materials and will probably only last a season, they are seriously the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.
Last, but not least, the classic two tone Chanel ballet flats. These are definitely atop my lust list.
Where do you find your favorite ballet flats? Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe
