Christine was filled with pride and unable to stop smiling as she confessed it was going to be a 'stressful job' for her husband to take on.

She said: 'It has been mad. It's quite a big deal it's been a bit of a whirlwind couple of days, but yeah he's there now, it's a huge deal for all of us.

'We had the most remarkable year in Derby all the fans were fantastic, we were very privileged to have that year.

'A glorious job for but a stressful one. There weren't many other jobs that would have pulled him away from Derby.'
